A Parts Manual was originally used by a dealership's parts department to identify every component of a vehicle down to each nut, bolt, and washer, along with its illustration and corresponding part number. Today, it is valued primarily for its many detailed illustrations. Post-war parts manuals are typically highly detailed and extensively illustrated while pre-war manuals tend to be less-so.
